The Sherman Oaks Galleria is perhaps best known as the home of the Valley Girl, since The Galleria was where "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" (1982) was filmed. The mall was also mentioned in Frank Zappa's novelty song "Valley Girl" which made it a local staple. The Artisan Market at The Galleria will include retro music and numerous vendors showing a variety of hand-made products.
